Your privacy is important to us. It is PrismPath Consulting’s (“Our”, “we”) policy to respect your privacy and comply with any applicable law and regulation regarding any personal information we may collect about you, including across our website, PRISMPATHCONSULTING.CA. To that end, this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how PrismPath Consulting collects, uses, and share your Personal Information (“PI”), as well as an explanation of the data rights you may have in that Personal Information. This Privacy Policy applies to all PrismPath Consulting clients, including unregistered visitors, registered users (collectively, “Clients”, “you” “your”). 

Our privacy policy is based upon the values set by the Canadian Standards Association's Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. 

This policy is effective as of May 15, 2026

We are responsible for maintaining and protecting the Personal Information under our control. We have designated an individual or individuals who is/are responsible for compliance with our privacy policy.

We collect, use and disclose Personal Information to provide you with the product or service you have requested and to offer you additional products and services we believe you might be interested in. The purposes for which we collect Personal Information will be identified before or at the time we collect the information. Limiting Collection
 

Information provided directly to PrismPath Consulting: PrismPath Consulting collects Personal Information through its websites (e.g., through cookies), as well as, information directly provided via email, in person, or by phone, including where a person submits an inquiry. PrismPath Consulting also collects information as part of providing products and services, from applications for services by existing and prospective clients, and in relation to adjudication and onboarding processes. 

Information about PrismPath Consulting clients or potential clients received through third parties: PrismPath Consulting collects Personal Information that We receive from third parties, such as credit reporting agencies, financial institutions and references provided by its clients as part of onboarding and offering client services, including to continue to understand our credit risks. PrismPath Consulting also receives information about prospective and existing merchants from its partners, including sales and referral partners. 

PrismPath Consulting may collect the following Personal Information from existing and prospective clients to provide service: 

  • Names 

  • Roles or positions 

  • Email address 

  • Company name 

  • Telephone numbers 

  • Banking information 

  • Recordings of calls and video conference calls to better serve our customers, ensure quality control and training purposes. 

  • Information about complaints 

  • Certain other information that PrismPath Consulting may collect with appropriate consent. 

We may obtain consent to collect personal and credit information from a reporting agency (including credit score).  

Limiting Use, Disclosure, and Retention
 

Personal Information may only be used or disclosed for the purpose for which it was collected unless you have otherwise consented, or when it is required or permitted by law. Personal Information will only be retained for the period of time required to fulfill the purpose for which we collected it or as may be required by law. 

 

  • to provide products and services (including support) for Our clients; 

  • to assess the financial situation and credit risk rating of Our clients by collecting credit and other financial information from credit reporting agencies, financial institutions, and from references provided by Our Clients (as part of the onboarding process and in relation to the ongoing provision of products and services); 

  • to respond to client inquiries and investigate disputes; 

  • to communicate with Our clients (e.g., via email or text message) to offer additional products and services that PrismPath Consulting believes might interest them; 

  • to create aggregated, de-identified or anonymized data; 

  • To further develop, customize, expand, and improve our Services, based on Clients’ common or personal preferences, experiences and difficulties; 

  • To analyze our performance and marketing activities; 

  • to maintain quality customer service; and to provide you with professional assistance. 

  • as otherwise required or permitted by applicable laws and regulations. 

 

We may use techniques like “machine learning” to help us improve Our services. When we use machine learning, we either: (i) still have a human being involved in the process (and so are not fully automated); or (ii) use machine learning in ways that don’t have significant privacy implications (using anonymized data to build storytelling use cases)  

 

Accuracy
 

Personal Information will be maintained in as accurate, complete, and up-to-date form as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is to be used.

 

Safeguarding Customer Information
 

Personal Information will be protected by security safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity level of the information. We take all reasonable precautions to protect your Personal Information from any loss or unauthorized use, access, or disclosure.

 

Openness
 

We will make information available to you about our policies and practices with respect to the management of your Personal Information.

 

Customer Access
 

Upon request, you will be informed of the existence, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information, and will be given access to it. You may verify the accuracy and completeness of your Personal Information and may request that it be amended, if appropriate. However, in certain circumstances permitted by law, we will not disclose certain information to you. For example, we may not disclose information relating to you if other individuals are referenced or if there are legal, security, or commercial proprietary restrictions.
