Get It Outta Your Head

You are not imagining it, everything does run through you

Description

For owners who feel like everything still runs through them. We follow real work across your team and show where it slows, loops back, and depends on you. You walk away seeing how work actually moves and where to start so it stops landing back on your desk.

What you'll walk away with
  • See how work really moves across your business

  • See where things slow down or fall apart

  • See why everything keeps coming back to you

  • Know where to start fixing it

Right now, your business works because you keep stepping in.

Your team gets work started, but when something is unclear or decisions need to be made, it comes back to you.

Tasks get handed off without the full picture, people move them forward as far as they can, then wait or send them back up.

You end up in the middle again, not because you want to be, but because things stall without you.

As you grow, this does not get better. It gets heavier. More people means more handoffs, more gaps, and more points where things can break or loop back.

If nothing changes, you stay the bottleneck, no matter how strong your team is.

Instead of trying to document everything yourself or guess where the issues are, I follow real work as it happens and map how it actually flows from lead to delivery to support.

You see where work slows down, where ownership drops, and why it keeps coming back to you.

Once you can see that, you know where to start so your team can move work forward without needing you involved every step of the way.

If you're the person everyone goes to for answers, you're not alone.

I've worked with leaders carrying that same load, helping them figure out...

➡ Why work keeps coming back to them

➡ Why things slow down when they're not involved

➡ Why delegation never seems to stick.

I've helped teams put ownership in the right places, freeing up roughly 15 hours a week for one team alone.

I've also led major system changes and kept important projects moving when lots of people were involved and nobody was quite sure who owned the next step.

I help get the knowledge, decisions, and day-to-day ways of working out of your head so the business doesn't depend on you being involved in everything.

How It Works

1

Start with how things run today

We begin with a short session where you walk me through how work moves in your business right now. What happens after a sale, where things tend to slow down, and where you keep getting pulled in.

No prep needed. We work with what is already in your head.

2

Follow work as it happens

Over the two-week period, I work alongside your team while real work is moving.

I sit in on what is already happening and track how work flows from sale to delivery to support. I am looking for where people pause, where things get passed around, and where it comes back to you.

3

Map how the business really runs

I turn what I see into a full picture of how work moves across your business today.

This shows the real flow your team is working from, not what is written down or assumed.

4

Show where it breaks and comes back to you

You will see where work slows down, gets repeated, or needs you to step in.

This is where the dependency shows up. Where decisions, missing steps, or gaps bring work back to you.

5

Identify what to fix first

We walk through the findings together and focus on what will make the biggest difference first.

You leave knowing where to start so work can move without you in the middle.

Your team has pieces of the picture, but not the whole thing.

You fill the gaps without even realizing it, and over time, everything starts routing through you by default. This is not about adding more process or asking you to step away and document everything.

It is about capturing how work already moves while your business is running.

Once you can see the full picture, the gaps become obvious.

You can see where work needs stronger ownership, where people are missing context, and where you are getting pulled in unnecessarily.

That is what gives you a starting point to shift work out of your hands and into your team.

“She has a way of breaking things down so everyone knows exactly what they own and what needs to happen next. Meetings stopped being talk and started turning into real progress.”
